Typography White on Black

I used the words White on Black for this page. I made the two main words, White and Black, the biggest things on the page, then made them get smaller as they went into the middle of the page. The top part of the word white is the same font as the bottom part of the word black, and vise versa. The two words that are towards the middle of the page have a lower opacity so they make the main words pop out more. The background is a combination of white and black. How I put the two words made it look contrasting.

Typography Loud

The size of each word makes the page look louder and the shapes are bold and some-what complex. The red background has an opacity set to 70% and since some of the words are on top of each other, it makes them look more 3D. The way the words are moving, for example, the yellow words, they are moving in a downward motion to show movement.

Typography Camouflage

This page has many different things that make it look camouflaged. The size of the word makes it so parts of the word are coming off the page. The background color is a texture that has many different lines on it, and the word has another texture that makes the word harder to see. The location of the word is going diagonal front the top right to the bottom left, and so it makes you move down the page. 

Typography Active

This page shows how it is active because the size is very big, the effect on the word active looks like its moving, the picture of the runner is a black silhouette with the words active behind it blended together so it also looks like something is going on. The background color makes the runner pop out and the words active pop out. Since the word active is at the top of the page, it makes the rest of the page look like something is going on.

Screenshot Envy

I started with a picture of a tree and a landscape and kept zooming in on the sun. Then when I got to a really close up view, I took a picture with my phone of a cool angle where I got a bunch of different lines. Then i zoomed in on the picture I took with my phone and got a picture that reminded me of a zebra.

Cover Page

I chose to do this for my cover picture because since the theme is completion, i put complete with a bunch of check marks since check marks mean complete.

For this picture, I chose the puzzle piece that was being placed into the puzzle as the emphasis because it is showing how the puzzle is being completed. I wrote accomplishment on the bottom also because accomplishment is a synonym for the word completion. The reason i chose to make the color go from black to orange was because how my book had three black and white images and the final one was color.

Page 2

The reason I put the word picture on the top part of the page was because a picture was an object that I saw came from a synonym. A type of picture I put was a polaroid because they take a while to develop and the background goes from white to black. The black part is like the completed version of the background, while the polaroids are a completed version of a picture.

Page 3

This third page shows completion because you can see many rectangles and a circle with different patterns in it. The circle has the same pattern in it without it changing throughout the shape. The two rectangles under the circle have two different patterns inside them, but they don't change in each rectangle. This page also says completion.
